Undertale

Undertale’s simple graphics hide a deeper, beautiful message. Designed, written, and developed entirely by Toby Fox (who was 24 when the game launched), Undertale showed that there’s another way beyond violence, even in the RPG genre where killing is an accepted part of the experience. But Undertale isn’t just a “moral” game – you can make the choice to kill everyone, too, and the game won’t punish you for it. It’s undoubtedly one of the most important indies ever, with an innovative battle system based around physically dodging attacks and a cast of characters we can’t help falling in love with.
