PlayStation Portable (PSP)
The Playstation Portable, released in 2004, was a handheld gaming console that aimed to bring console-quality gaming on-the-go. It featured a large 4.3-inch screen and a powerful processor that allowed for impressive graphics and gameplay. Its library of games included popular titles like Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Monster Hunter Freedom. Interestingly, the PSP was also capable of playing music and videos, making it a popular choice for multimedia entertainment. The PSP was also one of the first handheld consoles to offer online gaming, with its own infrastructure called the Playstation Network. Despite facing competition from the Nintendo DS, the PSP sold over 80 million units worldwide and is still beloved by many retro gaming enthusiasts.
