Deus Ex
The original 2000 Deus Ex, developed by Ion Storm, has held up beautifully: J.C. Denton’s adventure remains a landmark game for how seriously it takes player choice and encompasses many different playstyles. The sequels have kept the spirit of the original alive, with later protagonist Adam Jensen and his suite of cybernetic abilities proving just as compelling.
