Let’s be real: Spinch (not “spinach” like autocorrect demands) is a really freakin’ weird game. It’s a bountiful bazaar of colorfulness and alien aesthetics as if a Kool-Aid fever dream collided with unicorn nightmares.
Composer Thesis Sahib is a mad genius of creatively conjuring sounds from just about anything, and with Spinch he looks to children’s toys, retro and modern, for that extra special audiosauce.

METAL GEAR 2: SOLID SNAKE ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK 2XLP
Mondo, in conjunction with Konami, are proud to present the premiere physical release of the soundtrack to 1990’s espionage classic METAL GEAR 2: SOLID SNAKE.
Hideo Kojima’s direct, chronological sequel to the original MSX2 version of Metal Gear, Solid Snake tells the story of our previously retired hero’s infiltration of Zanziberland to rescue a kidnapped Bio-Engineer, and ultimately destroy the latest Metal Gear.
This album features a step up on audio quality from its predecessor – the soundtrack to Solid Snake is a melodic, and dynamic synth soundtrack album that is heavily inspired by the synth wave soundtracks of 80’s action and horror films.

Since iam8bit began releasing soundtracks on vinyl in 2010, they’ve collaborated with composer Austin Wintory more than any other maestro.
With The Pathless, he reteams with ABZÛ developer Giant Squid Studios and Annapurna Interactive to bring us another wholly unique aural experience — encompassing both the wandering serenity of the game’s hunter hero and the epic encounters with the cursed island’s inhabitants.
It’s a nuanced and dynamic career achievement for Wintory, encased in a beautifully illustrated jacket by Emmy-winning artist, Elaine Lee. It’s a symbolic album, too — harkening in the next generation of consoles with absolute grace.
