The BioShock trilogy is one of the most celebrated narrative achievements in games. The first entry introduced players to Rapture, an underwater utopia spoiled by genetic experimentation gone wrong, an art-deco nightmare that was equal parts fun and terrifying to explore. BioShock Infinite, meanwhile, took players to the floating city of Columbia, and showed them the dirt and grime behind its shiny, steampunk exterior. These games examine the nature of player choice and contain some plot twists that are still shocking over a decade later. A fourth game is currently in the works.
