The notebooks, with their considered design based on Kratos' Leviathan Axe and Atreus's in-game journal are the perfect item for both fans of God of War and of beautifully designed notebooks. Both notebooks are hardcovers with rounded corners and have subtly lined paper. Several pages are printed with concept art, sketches and graphic design. The visual inspiration for these notebooks comes from the iconic Leviathan Axe that Kratos wields in the game and the journal that Atreus carries with him in the game.

The special Collector's Edition consists of two notebooks: the Limited Edition notebook plus an extra notebook, model 'Atreus'. This notebook has a brown cover with a subtle dark gold hand symbol screen printed on the front, a symbol of Atreus' mother Faye.

A beautiful piece of God of War concept artwork is part of the Collector Edition in the form of a beautiful, small Cook and Becker giclee print. Also exclusive to the Collector's Edition is an extra brass colored paperclip of Atreus and a blue pencil with one of his arrows printed on it.
