Commodore 64
The Commodore 64, AKA the C64 or CBM 64, is an 8-bit home computer launched in January 1982 and has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest-selling single computer model of all time, with independent estimates placing the number sold between 12.5 and 17 million units. With sound and graphic capabilities rivaled only by the Atari 8-bit family, the C64 is often credited with starting the computer subculture known as the demoscene. Still selling well and able to compete with Nintendo’s early products, the C64 outsold the NES. With a library of 10,000 games, it really is not surprise that the C64 is still in use by many die hard fans to this day.
