The Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game console developed by Nintendo and released on their 100th anniversary on April 21, 1989. It was Nintendo's first handheld games console combining elements from the Nintendo Entertainment System and their Game & Watch. It sprinted on to becoming a runaway commercial success and sold over 100 million units around the world.
This piece is a 3D depiction of the classic Gameboy with Tetris playing on the screen - this would have been a common sight for many Gamboy owners as Tetris was a (brilliant) pack in game with this console.
The art is printed on high grade glossy card stock many times over, and then painstakingly precision hand cut and layered many times to create the eye popping 3D effect. Perfect for hanging or displaying on a shelf, and comes complete with hanger and stand.
Due to the handmade nature of this product, the artwork may vary slightly from piece to piece.
